Beauty subscription boxes have been around for a few years now, they've dominated the beauty industry with their ability to give even the smallest budget a taste of luxury. I want this series to be a honest discussion about what’s available in terms of beauty subscriptions. In today's post I want to introduce the first of my review posts and talk about my thoughts on the OK magazine beauty box for April 2021.
Pricing and Postage
Before I give my thoughts on the products included, I want to speak a little about the process of purchasing the box. When ordering your first box there are numerous discount codes available, I opted for the £7.50 box when the RRP is £15 a month. Each month you will receive a minimum of five amazing products, postage is included in this price and the box will always be a minimum value of £60. Packaging was gorgeous, incredibly luxe. They ship around the 15th of each month so you can expect to receive it within 5-7 days after that.
Product Review
Bioderma Hydrabio Micellar Water (RRP - £19.50)
Monu Skin Firming Facial Oil (RRP - £26.95)
Murad Intense Recovery Cream (RRP - £68)
Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel (RRP - £38)
Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream (RRP - £11)
Plus a bonus gift of Garnier Uplift Night Cream (RRP - £8.50)
All of these products come in a very good size with enough product for you to determine whether it is something you would want to repurchase. I was thoroughly impressed with the range of products available in this box and I would use this opportunity to get into a good skincare routine. Perfect for someone who's new to skincare.
Value for Money
Personally I think that this is great value for money, all the products in this box are full size and I would even be happy to pay the standard £15 for this box.
Whilst restrictions are easing, coronavirus still exists, let's all play our part to keep our loved ones safe. Remember to observe social distancing guidelines, wear a mask and keep up to date with government legislation.
