L'Oreal Colorista Washout Review ~

In today's post, I will be reviewing the new L'oreal colorista washout hair dyes...
These dyes are meant to washout within 2-3 washes while giving a natural fade.
I bought this colour from boots for £6.99, however, when I was looking at all the different colours I noticed that they also have a spray colour in the range which was the same price, despite only lasting for one day...

Anyways this new range has a variety of colours which are more suited for blonde or highlighted hair! I used the dirty pink shade which is a dupe to a rose gold shade.

In the box you get the dye, instructions and some gloves, the instructions state the ways in which you can create different effects such as full head, highlights and ombre. I personally chose to have an ombre. I have to say if you are wanting a full head then you may want to consider buying two boxes because I only just had enough to do an ombre.

I got my hair done at my Auntie's salon Shades in Maidstone, so if any of you are around the area do pop in! She applied the dye with a brush and then we left it 20 minutes (however we would advise leaving it for 30 for a more vibrant colour) then we rinsed my hair until the water was clear!

After this you can dry and style your hair as normal, for me I chose to straighten it but that's just my personal preference.

I am writing this post almost two weeks after I had the colour put on and you can vaguely see the colour in there, however, after washing it after the first time I would recommend drying it straight away to try and minimise any colour transfer. I made the mistake of not doing this and going to bed with damp hair and waking up with pink pillow cases which were once previously white! My wonderful mum managed to get the dye out which was a miracle!! :)

So the finished look was...

If any of you are interested in purchasing the colorista dye I will leave it linked below...
