Back To School ~ GCSE Advice!

Hey Everyone,

Today I'm going to be talking through some advice I have for those of you starting your GCSE's or another equivalent academic study!

1) MAKE NOTES FROM THE BEGINNING:
I cannot stress this enough, if you start building up your notes from the start of the year by the time you come to sit the exams you will have built up a huge range of notes for all your topics! This will reduce the stress you will face nearer towards your exams!

2) TAKE OPTIONS YOU WILL ENJOY:
Do not take options because your friends are doing them or to please people! If you are not sure what to do try and take subjects you like or subjects that may get you onto the path leading to a possible career option.

3) DO NOT OVERWORK YOURSELF:
This links into my first point, if you work hard from the beginning it will mean you won't feel as much pressure further on in the year! Plus if you overwork yourself, you will be mentally and physically and mentally drained meaning that you will not be doing effective revision!

4) TRY AND THINK POSITIVE
For me this was the hardest as I am a fairly negative person, however even though at the time it may seem like the hardest thing you have ever done, it will get better! Just think of your early summer thanks to study leave! ;)

There you go, those are my main tips for starting GCSE's if you have any others feel free to leave them below in the comments and don't forget to sign up for an email subscription so you are notified every time I post and leave a comment on new posts you would like to see! :)
