Monthly Obsessions: April 2021

I'm back with another monthly obsessions post, this time for the month of April. With shops reopening and life beginning to return back to normal I've been using a load of new products, particularly along the lines of skincare.

Body Brightening Serum

I picked this up in TKMaxx the other week and have fallen in love with it, it's become a staple in my morning routine. This serum is moisturising but also brightening, it has a subtle watermelon and mint scent. I'll definitely be using this all summer to give me a dewy glow. Sunday Rain is a 100% vegan brand that aims to promote self-care for the ultimate 'me-time'.

SPF
After hearing Caroline Hirons speak about the importance of SPF in an effective skincare routine, I came to realise that I had never invested in a good SPF daily moisturiser. Once again, I purchased this in TKMaxx and would highly recommend, it doesn't sit heavily on my skin. Caroline stated that when ever you can read a book without a light you should be wearing SPF.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine

I've mentioned these before here on the blog, but they're honestly my favourite nail products. Lockdown has been the perfect opportunity to look after my nails and let them grow. Every week or so I've been doing home manicures with these polishes. My favourite shade is Grape Soda, it's the dreamiest lilac shade and is often what I will have on my nails. They're so reasonably priced and can be purchased from retailers like Boots or Superdrug, as well as supermarkets and Amazon.

Revolution Super Dewy Tinted Moisturiser
I've been using this for about a month now, and it's safe to say it's one of my favourite foundations. I've recently been loving the light coverage, dewy, fresh faced look. Revolution has created such a buildable formula that works amazingly well with my skin. Although it's one of their more expensive items at £9, it's still affordable for such a great product.

Whilst restrictions are easing, coronavirus still exists, let's all play our part to keep our loved ones safe. Remember to observe social distancing guidelines, wear a mask and keep up to date with government legislation.

Stay Safe xx
